There are two main islands making up Zanzibar, Unguja and Pemba, but Unguja is popularly referred to as Zanzibar. Both Island are famous for its, mile-long untouched beaches with white sands, the deep green azure of the of the ocean, coconut palm trees against the blue sky with its ornamental white clouds.
 

The islands are surrounded by unspoiled coral reefs, and are becoming famous for the spectacular scuba diving and snorkelling.

The old Spice Island of Zanzibar: Market

"Stone Town" of Zanzibar has been made into a world heritage site. It is a fascinating place with narrow winding streets, old Zanzibari style wooden doors, small shops, busy bazaars, people and children playing.

Stone Town
Visitors can explore the heritage and history of the famous Stone Town, now designated a World Heritage Site. This includes visits to the city market, the old Anglican Church located on the site of the old Slave Market and the National Museum of Zanzibar (nominal fee paid by clients if they wish to enter the museum). Later visits to the Old British Consulate, the Old Fort dating back since 1700, House of Wonders and Livingstone House give visitors an insight into Zanzibar's rich history. Leisurely walks through the winding alleys and narrow streets will take you to the small exotic bazaars and local curio shops.

Spice Plantations and Farms
Visits to the spice plantations will dazzle your senses with fresh spices. On the way visitors can stop at the old Sultan Rest House to view the Persian Baths built in 1850 by Seyyid Said bin Sultan (first Sultan of Zanzibar) for his wife Princess Shehzard. A unique opportunity to visit the local farms and talk to farmers who will show you the traditional spices and fruits of Zanzibar.

Dolphin Tours
One of the Island's most popular excursions, and a unique opportunity to see the numerous dolphins, which inhabit the sea in the southern part of the Island, not far from Breezes.

After a transfer to Kizimkazi, visitors can board a local dhow and head off in search of the dolphins. It is important to remember that these beautiful marine creatures are not tame in spite of which they come very close to the boats in large numbers. Snorkeling at these sites is also possible. The return trip includes a visit to the Kizimkazi mosque, believed to be the first mosque in Zanzibar and indeed one of the first in East Africa, which still contains the famous Kufic scripts in its walls.

Jozani Forest
The only remaining natural forest on Unguja Island is a heaven for nature lovers! With a rich variety of bird species, Jozani also offers the unique opportunity of seeing the very rare Red Colobus Monkey, which is indigenous to the Island of Zanzibar.

Swahili Tour At Breezes
A wonderful opportunity to meet the local people of the Island in the nearby village of Bwejuu. This trip is one of our most popular excursions and it is organized as part of a community project called "Breezes for Bwejuu!"

Visit the homes of the local villagers, see the clinic and meet the children in their school and nursery. This is a unique perspective into the true culture and way of life of Zanzibari people.

Deep Sea Fishing (maximum of 4 pax)
Just of the northern tip of the south east coast of Zanzibar, experienced crew will take you out for half or full day in search of Barracuda, Tuna Fish, and Kingfish and if you are really lucky you may even catch a sailfish or marlin. For the fisherman that got lucky, the Chef will prepare and cook the catch for your dinner.

The Lake Nakuru park also contains largest population of rhinos.The surface of the lake occupies about a third of the lake park.
