THE AMAZING EXPERIENCE

Hot air balloon safari flights in serengeti or maasai mara takes off at 6.30 am and last for one hour. A chase crew follows and prepares a champaigne breakfast at the Mara Plains after which each passenger recieves a balloon safari certificate from the balloon pilot as a part of your safari.

Hot air balloon safari is an exclusive excursion over the Serengeti plains, offering unparalleled panoramic views of the awe-inspiring landscape. Serengeti hot air balloon safari is a very popular excursion for those of our clients willing to spend that little bit extra, and can be added on to any safari that includes a night in the Serengeti, at any of the lodges. Only two balloon fly each day, each balloon with a capacity of only 12 people.

ITINERARY: SERENGETI OR MAASAI MARA
The hot air balloon safari commence with a pre-dawn pick up from your lodge, and a drive of 45 minutes to the launch site (80 minutes from Sopa lodge), you then enter your hot-air balloon at dawn for a breathtaking one hour balloon flight. As the balloon float over the SERENGETI or mara plains in the increasing light, the balloon pilot will take you up to at least 1,000 foot altitude for a breathtaking panoramic view of the plains. Much of the remainder of the balloon flight will be at a tree-top or even grass-top level for some close up views of the wildlife, flora and fauna below.Maasai mara balloon,kenya safari,tanzania safari,serengeti balloon safari.

On landing from your hot air balloon safari in serengeti or maasai mara, you are met by the ground support team with a bottle of champagne. Then its off to the breakfast table, which will have been set up under a fine umbrella tree close to the landing spot in the serengeti or maasai mara plains. You are served a full cooked English breakfast with some tropical additions - a fine spread served on bone china with silver cutlery and crystal glasses. After breakfast you receive your Serengeti or maasai mara Balloon certificates. The hot air balloon serengeti or maasai mara balloon safari is complete at around 9.30 a.m., and you are returned to your lodge to be met by our driver-guide. As balloon safari this is an early morning excursion safari, you can add this on even if you are in a group where not all members would like to participate.

In case of cancellation by the balloon operating company due to climatic conditions or any other reason, you will have the option of a balloon safari flight the following morning if this fits into your itinerary, or a full refund.
